Unlike traditional martial arts or structured gymnastics, tricking does not have a singular, static ranking system. We focus on teaching the basic elements and movements of the sport and attain new skills through progressions. Twisters was created in 1967 by a group of parents from Los Altos, CA who wanted to create a top-notch private club that trained world class athletes. Los Altos Twisters became incorporated and was renamed Twisters Gymnastics, Inc in 1986. Former owner Nancy trained several International Elite athletes, including 1984 Olympian Pam Bileck.
